The big idea was to try and make 40 videos for 40 new songs in 2014. What started as a joking tweet in the end of 2013 turned into a challenge that was both the source of massive creative satisfaction and self delivered anxiety. Perhaps it was some sort of "getting it out of my system"? I had gotten really fascinated by youtube culture and the pop music video and exploring the marriage of song and video and how that could be explored. Making 40 videos for 40 new songs felt like the best way to rapid fire explore that for one year, and see where that artistic mission brought me.
By the end of the year I had made Wrong Doing, which led me down the path of exploring how multiple songs could be paired together to form a larger body, which led to the three film that comprise DO WRONG (WRONG DOING + WRONG DONE + WRONG DID)
